At Chanson Languages, we believe language learning belongs not only in the classroom, but also in the community.
This July, we're delighted to partner with Botany Library to launch French Fun Club—a free four-week introduction to French language and culture for children aged 5–11.
Through games, songs, crafts and interactive activities, children will take their first steps into the French language in a fun, relaxed and welcoming environment. No previous French experience is required—just curiosity and a willingness to learn.
As a French educator and local mum based in East Auckland, I'm incredibly grateful for the support our community has given me. Local schools have welcomed Chanson Languages into their classrooms and trusted me to teach French, while my own children have benefited from the wonderful programmes offered by our public libraries.
French Fun Club is my way of giving something back—sharing the language and culture I love with local families and helping children discover the joy of learning a new language.
A heartfelt thank you to Botany Library for partnering with Chanson Languages to make this free community programme possible. Together, we're creating more opportunities for children to explore languages, cultures and the wider world.
We look forward to welcoming many local families over the coming weeks and sharing the joy of French together.
Children aged 5–11 are welcome — no previous French experience is required.

今年七月，我们非常高兴与 Botany Library 合作，共同推出 French Fun Club（法语趣味俱乐部） —— 一个专为 5–11 岁儿童设计的免费四周法语与法国文化体验课程。
孩子们将在轻松、友好的氛围中，通过游戏、歌曲、手工和互动活动，迈出学习法语的第一步。不需要任何法语基础，只需要带着好奇心和探索精神前来参加。
作为一名居住在东奥克兰的法语教师，同时也是两位孩子的妈妈，我一直心怀感恩。多年来，本地学校给予 Chanson Languages 信任，让我们有机会走进课堂教授法语；而我的孩子们，也从公共图书馆丰富多彩的免费活动中收获了许多快乐与成长。
French Fun Club 正是我回馈社区的一份心意。希望把我热爱的法语和法国文化分享给更多本地家庭，让孩子们在快乐中发现学习语言的乐趣，也感受到不同文化的魅力。
特别感谢 Botany Library 与 Chanson Languages 的合作，让这个免费的社区项目成为现实。我们期待通过这次活动，为东奥克兰的孩子们创造更多接触语言、文化与世界的机会。
