French Fun Club Week 3: Family
French Fun Club 第三周：Family 家庭主题
Our third French Fun Club at Botany Library was all about family!
At Chanson Languages, we believe French language learning for children should be fun, interactive and meaningful. Through our French Fun Club, children in Auckland enjoy engaging French lessons through songs, games, speaking activities and creative projects in a friendly and relaxed environment.
With the changeable winter weather, several of our regular little learners were unfortunately unwell last week. We hope they are all feeling better very soon! 💛 Their absence also gave several families from our waiting list the opportunity to join us for the first time.
The children learned family words such as maman, papa, frère, sœur, mamie and papi through songs, games and interactive speaking activities. One funny moment was discovering that “mamie” doesn’t mean “mummy” at all — it means grandma! The children were quite surprised and had lots of fun saying the new word together.
They especially loved our “Who’s Missing?” game, listening carefully, making their guesses and answering simple questions in French.
Then it was time to get creative! ✂️ With the help of our wonderful helpers, the children made their own family-themed crafts.
Several parents who joined us for the first time came up to us afterwards to say:
“My child really enjoyed the session!”
“Amazing French class, full of smiles!”
They were also quick to ask if they could continue attending the remaining sessions. It was lovely to see how quickly the children felt at home in the group — and how keen they were to come back! 💛
This is what we love about our French classes for kids: children learn French while playing, creating, communicating and having fun together. These interactive French lessons help children build confidence, develop their vocabulary and discover the joy of learning a new language.

我们的第三期 French Fun Club 法语趣味俱乐部 又在 Botany Library 欢快地度过了一个上午！这一次，我们一起探索的主题是 “家庭”。
在 Chanson Languages，我们相信，儿童法语学习应该是有趣、互动且充满意义的。通过 French Fun Club，孩子们可以在轻松友好的环境中，通过歌曲、游戏、口语互动和创意活动接触法语、学习法语。
最近冬季天气变化较大，上周有几位平时固定参加活动的小朋友不巧生病了。希望他们都能早日恢复健康！💛而他们的缺席，也让候补名单上的几组家庭有机会第一次加入我们的活动。
这一次，孩子们通过歌曲、游戏和互动口语活动学习了 maman（妈妈）、papa（爸爸）、frère（哥哥/弟弟）、sœur（姐姐/妹妹）、mamie（外婆/奶奶） 和 papi（外公/爷爷） 等家庭成员词汇。
其中一个特别有趣的时刻，是孩子们发现 “mamie” 可不是 “mummy” 哦——它的意思是奶奶或外婆！ 大家都觉得很惊讶，也开心地一起反复练习这个新单词。
孩子们尤其喜欢我们的 “Who’s Missing?”（谁不见了？） 游戏。他们需要认真听、仔细观察、猜一猜，然后用简单的法语回答问题。在游戏中练习法语，对孩子们来说完全不像是在“上课”！😊
接下来就是创意时间啦！✂️ 在我们可爱小助手的帮助下，孩子们制作了属于自己的 家庭主题手工作品。
几位第一次参加活动的家长在活动结束后特意过来告诉我们：
“我的孩子真的非常喜欢这次活动！”
“非常棒的法语课，孩子们全程都在笑！”
他们还马上询问能不能继续参加接下来的活动。看到孩子们这么快就融入这个小小的法语学习社区，而且已经迫不及待想要再次回来，我们真的非常开心！💛
这正是我们喜欢 儿童法语课 的原因：孩子们可以在玩耍、创作、交流和欢笑中自然地学习法语。通过这样的互动式法语课程，他们不仅能够积累词汇、建立开口说法语的信心，也能慢慢发现学习一门新语言的乐趣。
